We place a great deal on who are, where we have come from and where we want to head.  Before profits, before success, there is an underlying drive to do good, to contribute to our employee’s overall well being, not to detract from it.  

We want to add value to the tourism industry and carefully chart our impact.  Above all, we are an Asian based organisation and we want do to Asia proud.  

The principles we have in place will allow us to achieve that.

Activating every employee’s potential : 

At Asia Concierge, cultural diversity and inclusion aren’t afterthoughts. They’re central to our success. 

Innovation and our creativity drives our business forward – and we know that breakthrough ideas come about when diverse teams look at challenges from different angles. The very fact that we are a seven country Asian operating company combining western practices ensures our working culture values difference, fosters inclusion and promotes collaboration. Our extensive management experience shows us that when every employee is empowered to impact our business, we all win. 

It starts with how we hire : 

Local nationals understand their country and cultural make up best. Without question they make smarter decisions, but teams don’t make themselves. We actively recruit and nurture local talent that bring diversity, experience and deeply rooted local knowledge to our workplace — finding the best and brightest whoever they are. 

We’ve built a culture of inclusion : 

Inclusion principles are embedded at every level of our company, from the top down and ground up. We support key heads of departments to serve as role models and spread a message of inclusion, cultural understanding and empathy throughout our workplace. This culture is embraced and influenced through to our partners and suppliers.

We look ahead to create what our clients will someday need.

That’s been our mission from day one. We’re constantly imagining and investing in the future, always going where others aren’t, can’t or won’t. 

We have invested in our local sourced talent to create solutions to help our clients build quotations and bookings online with ease. A B2B platform is nothing new to the travel industry but the way we have built and structured it to be client driven is. Our Events platform will also bring technology and innovative design to a client in a way that has not been utilised before. 

We are leading the way in ‘app’ design for the internal operation and service delivery of our business, creating live online reporting and calls to action from our travel experts in the field. No unnecessary paper trail, no email back and forth.

The DMC world is one of complacency. Our single goal is to reimagine how we do business, so our clients are always on the receiving end of results that drive sales, increase efficiency, provide attention to detail and deliver a quality product with little room for error.

Sustainability

Sustainability has been embraced since conception of the company 

Whilst the owners and employees of Asia Concierge all have a long history in travel and tourism, the company itself is young and therefore has not had to adapt itself to any sustainability practices as they have simply been embraced from conception to inception. There are no bad habits to eradicate. 

By finding innovative ways to power our business and modernise how a DMC is structured, any emissions or waste is reduced to a bare minimum footprint on our environment. 

But our own culture of sustainability does not focus solely on the most apparent environmental factors. Asia is our home. We are not outsiders looking in so we also foster sustainability through respect and inclusion of locally sourced touring product and materials. We vet our suppliers to ensure they too abide by our own practices and policies and if they don’t then we encourage them to change and support them where needed. 

After all, the end consumer needs to know we operate with the smallest footprint possible and to have the confidence and trust in our ability to control the impact we all place on the environment by simply being here.
